I went to see him in 2017 for a second opinion. All he did was blame the first surgeon and when I asked why he thought like he did, he threw me out of his office. He used a line I’ll never forget. “When I go to the Ferrari dealership”. Look at you hot shot. Get lost.

The worst doctor I have ever met. He had no bedside manner, and he made it very clear that he did not care one iota about my mother as a patient or human being. His solution to her excruciating pain was "pain medication, skilled nursing, and we'll consider surgery in 3 months." Lucklily we had the resources and perseverance to get her to another hospital in the Chicago area, and a competent Orthopedic Spine surgeon listened to her and us, and she is not only out if pain but walking again after surgery.

***^^^^*********I have degenerative disc disease. In 2019 Dr Ali did some work on my lumbar and cervical areas. I have been having pain again and the X-ray shows more problems to come. The work he did has held tight. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.********** Now it’s 2025 and I’m 5 weeks out from a 3 level fusion in my lumbar. Dr Ali had to take out the hardware put in earlier and it had healed beautifully. Then he fused 3 levels on the other side. I’m able to walk again which is remarkable. Another success story in... read more

My mother went to this guy and he is the most disrespectful person you ever meet talked to my mother like she was stupid caused her to break down and cry. Then proceeded to say I can't help you go find another Dr. I wouldn't send anyone to this guy ever. Then we find out he caused a friend of the family to lose complete feeling in his leg after surgery when he had feeling the whole time before he operated. Now my mother had emergency surgery on her neck and he wanted to do an unnecessary surgery on her lumbar spine when that... read more

Today was a follow up visit with Dr. Ali for my 78 year old mother. Her last visit she was told she had fractured her back. She was given meds and a brace. Her appointment was for 9:30 am. I had asked the receptionist how the appointments were running and she said good they were just getting started, I explained to her she will get agitated quickly due to other medical problems. We got called into the room fairly quickly and they took my mom for xrays, again very smoothly to this point. Waiting in the exam room for 40 mins, ... read more
