Felt most confident with him compared to other docs. So the positive remarks you read from others are true. Personable, relatable, realistic, insightful. He was very engaged in my case. Outstanding doctor. Cares about his patients. Spends time with you. Talks with you. Explains everything. Great surgical results. I have been privileged to have had several really good doctors over the years, but Dr. Birmingham is at the top. I highly recommend you go see him. He's the doctor you've been hoping for. Just superbly qualified and totally focused on getting you well.
Dr. Birmingham is an excellent doctor, surgeon, and person. In 2018 I had to have 2 stage hip revision surgery and after the experience with my first hip surgery I was terrified. Dr. Birmingham immediately sensed my fear and not only performed two very complex surgeries on my hip but provided me with the emotional support and encouragement that I needed. Knee replacement surgery for a 77 year old woman is a special journey. All went so well because Dr. B is excellent, confident, and seasoned. I chose well and may do other knee eventually. So happy he was recommended by my neighbor.
Another home run! Ortho VA physicians are sensitive and empathetic to your situation, and you leave feeling that they listened and heard everything you tell them. My previous experience at OVA was an A+
Dr Miles Birmingham and his staff at OrthoVirginia are superb! My hip replacement in March 2019 went smoothly. Dr Birmingham was very attentive to my situation and advised me with great wisdom. I was well informed before and following my surgery. In addition, my rehab at the OV Physical Therapy facility in Prince George, VA, was hugely instrumental in my recovery. Staff is amazing. Dr. Birmingham is a sincerely caring doctor. He was very honest with me. I trust and value his opinion and knowledge. He is very patient takes time listens to you. He takes the time to explain and discuss my options with me.
