Dr. Alkalay is an amazing doctor with a huge heart for helping children. We have seen dozens of doctors for my daughter and she was the first who seemed to truly know her case and give us the time of day and validate our concerns. She spent over an hour with us and it was obvious she had done her homework on my daughter’s case and knew every detail. Best doctor ever!!! Professional, excellent communicator, patient and kind, and best of all….. incredible listener!!! I’ve been to numerous doctors, long story short, this is the first doctor that took me seriously. I told Dr. Alkalay, “But I just know something is wrong.” She listened! We absolutely love her! She has been amazing! My daughter is well looked after with her celiac disease for sure and she helps make sure of that! She is so caring and listens to you without you feeling rushed at all!

Dr. Alkalay is a great Dr. She cares so much about her patients. She has a warm and loving personality. She loves her profession and will do everything she can to get to the bottom of your child's health issues. I thank God everyday for putting her in our way. My daughter's health is so much better now that we see her. I definitely recommend her. She is also pro-SCD(specific carbohydrate diet). I don't think she recommends the SCD but she supports it.
