Dr. Yu is very knowledgeable. He has a personable demeanor which helps to calm patient's who may feel stressed going to see a doctor. He listens to his patient's needs and does not make you feel rushed out. Dr. Yu genuinely cares for his patient's.
Very accessible and professional
He was on time and seemed interested in resolving your problem. Set in motion a plan to investigate the source of my concerns. He was personable and his nurse May was excellent and made you feel welcomed. Great team!!
Every time I consult with Dr. Yu, I walk away with specific solutions to my health issues. He is very supportive and that gives me a sense of relief that someone will always be there in case I need help.
Dr Yu take the time to explain my illness to me. He is always available to see you are talk with you and he follow though with referrals he's a good doctor.
The entire team at Torrance Memorial and Dr. Yu's office specifically have always been extremely friendly and helpful. Scheduling, even on short-notice, as always been easy and their team very accommodating. Dr. Yu has always been very friendly and knowledgable, and I completely trust him with my general physician care.
The worst doctor I ever met. He misdiagnosed me three times which put me in the hospital each time & once fighting for my life. The needless agony & pain was due to him diagnosing me by phone after calling him 10 times then hearing back 6 hours later by phone. He said the pain in my loins was due to a flu I might have in my stomach. No, not the flu but a UTI caused by Yu's stupid test that began the UTI. Dr Yu never makes us wait long and is very down to earth. He talks to you about your health without making you feel bad about anything that needs to be worked on.
Dr. Yu is very accommodating and kind. He gives his prognosis in a way that I as a patient can easily understand. He answers my questions honestly and this gives me a feeling of reassurance. Whenever I have an issue, I call his office and his staff readily schedules me for an appointment, whether it’s tele-health or in office.
