Despite the fact that my surgery had to be rescheduled because of problems with insurance coverage, Dr. Huether and his staff were most helpful and supportive in resolving the problem and rescheduling the surgery for the following week.
Dr. Huether and his staff are very professional and their care of the patients of the AZ Skin Cancer Surgery Ctr is exceptional. My MOHS surgeries have been much less concerning knowing that the experienced professional that Dr. Huether is. Unfortunately I did not protect my skin as I should have when I was younger, and the effects of my skin damage have resulted in my need to visit Dr. Huether's surgery ctr more than once. Tucson residents are very fortunate to have such a talented Dr. in town
I spent years in the sun as a young man and now I'm paying for it. Since moving to the Tucson area, I've used Dr. Huether multiple time with great results. When surgery is required I trust Dr Huether to provide the care needed.
I was VERY impressed with his bedside manner. He was professional and spent plenty of time with me explaining every detail of what he was going to do and what I was to expect. And the icing on the cake was when he PERSONALLY called me at 6:30 PM to see how I was doing that day. I wish he were my doctor for everything, not just skin cancer. I was told he was the best and he sure impressed me! Thank you very much Dr. Huether!

Have been seeing Dr. Huetter several times over the last 10-15 hrs. Very thorough in his work. Will answer questions easily. The staff is friendly, helpful, and cooperative. Happy to recommend him.
I am so impressed by the personal caring given by Dr Huether and his entire staff. Having cancer anywhere in your body is frightening so having professional skill coupled with kindness goes a long way to alleviate the fear that accompanies cancer. Dr Huether personally called me in the evening after my surgery to see how I was doing and told me to call anytime if I had any problems or concerns. The next day one of his staff called to check on me. How wonderful that is!!
Probably the most personable, pleasant, and competent specialist I have yet encountered. Have you ever heard of a doctor listing his home phone number if there is a post-procedure issue that cannot be addressed using the usual methods? Exceptional staff and facility. If you come with an ego, leave it outside. There is none inside!
Facility, Dr. Huether, and staff are all first rate. All related procedures can be performed at the same location. I have been to Dr. Huether twice over 15 years and would definitely go a third time (although I hope I don't have to). Everyone at the facility is extremely friendly and make you feel comfortable, as best they can, given that dermatological surgery, by its very nature, takes a long time at the clinic.
