Dr. Michael Huether performed Mohs Micrographic surgery for Nodular Basal Cell Carcinoma on my nose. Without any reservation I very highly recommend Dr. Huether and his ARIZONA SKIN CANCER SURGERY CENTER !! Once I had an appointment for surgery, I received by mail a big envelope from Dr. Huether's Surgery Center with helpful instructions to follow BEFORE my appointment, explanations about different skin cancers AND medical forms to fill out at home (which I found considerate and helpful)! My third visit and surgery over the years. The doctor and staff are top notch. Everyone very nice. Would not go any other place for this.
I arrived for my procedure at 6:30 am, and was greeted by a very friendly and accommodating staff. I was briefed on every step of the procedure beforehand, and after the initial sample was taken I was made comfortable in the waiting area. All of the cancer was removed, on the first time, and I was brought into the OR to suture up the surgical site. Again I was made aware of every step before it began. I had a great experience with Dr. Huether. He removed a spot just above my lip and it is still in the healing process. When I thought I was having issues, they had me come in same day. He checked out my lip and said all the swelling and issues I had were all part of the healing process. Both he and his staff put me at ease. I reccommend him to anyone considering having Mohs procedure.
Dr. Huether and staff walked me through what was to be expected before and after surgery in an understanding manner and put me at ease. Everyone was very compassionate.
Dr. Huether and his staff are wonderful. I had to have a cancerous mole removed from my lower eyelid. Dr. Huether was recommended to me by my dermatologist as the best skin cancer surgeon in the country, and even though I had to travel from out of state, I was glad to be able to have Dr. Huether perform this delicate surgery.
