Dr. Huether, his staff and his facilities are without equal in Southern Arizona. His personal approach is equal to his surgical expertise. I would wait for an appointment with him rather than go somewhere else sooner.
Mohs treatment and nitrogen applied to two pre cancers. No problems encountered. Pressure bandage applied after surgery, no leaks, no pain, felt good !!!
I have had several surprises for skin cancer in multiple states. Dr. Huether is the best I have experienced.
Prior to my appointment I stopped by the office to verify drive time and location. It was after hours and I wanted to read the signs posted on the doors. By the time I walked back to my car a young lady dressed in scrubs approached me in the parking lot and asked if she could help. I told her I had a future appointment and was verifying their location. Dr. Heuther has the "bedside manner" I wish all doctors would have. He explained everything he was doing and why, answered all my questions, and was very calming and showed he cares about the patient. His staff is also excellent, they have the same friendly, professional attitude he does, and it's obvious they know & love their jobs.
Very gentle and very caring
From the moment we walked in the door, we were welcomed and checked in very pleasantly. This is one of the best medical offices in Tucson. This was my third visit and it was as efficient and kind as it usually is. My husband and I have both had surgery here and appreciate the manner in which Dr. Huether and his staff treat us. If it weren't for the "C" word, we'd come more often just to enjoy the comfortable waiting area and WiFi!
I was given a great deal of information (written and verbal) from both Dr. Huether and all staff. I knew what was going to happen during my procedure, what I might experience during the procedure and in my healing, and was encouraged to ask any and all questions. The procedure and my recuperation has gone just as I thought it would, thanks to the preparation done by Dr./staff. I would recommend Dr. Huether unreservedly.
Dr. Huether is the best. He is excellent at what he does and calls to check on his patients in the evening after surgery.
