I would give the service I received today a zero. I had an issue with them regarding the child’s medical insurance. We called the insurance company to explain the situation, and they told us that everything was fine. They also explained that they could not remove the inactive insurance because it was part of an old record. I contacted the clinic again to explain what the insurance company had told us, but they said they could not do anything because the child’s insurance information needed to be updated. Idk how this place comes up with prescriptions without even having my daughter read the letter chart or have her look thru lenses asking can u see better now or NOW?? u know how they usually do that kinda thjng... Her 1st pair was useless. She just got a new script with the appointment going exactly like the 1st time so I don't very much faith or high hopes that she'll be able to use the next pair either! And we can't even go elsewhere because ins only covers 1 visit each year. fingers crossed but we're both so bummed out. ... read more
Can't speak for Dr. Abrams specifically as we have not gotten to even see him, but the attitude of the woman who answers the phone leaves a lot to be desired. I explained I needed a routine exam for my son and she immediately starts with "it'll be $255". I explain my insurance covers routine exams with ophthalmologists at no cost and she again states "it'll be $255. bring it upfront or you won't be seen". Why should I be forced to pay that much for something my insurance will cover at no cost to me? Are you that money hungry... read more
