Dr. Allen didn't really want to listen/hear my story. Definitely the rudest, most arrogant doctor I've ever encountered. Was very condescending. Doesn't explain procedures, hands you a pamphlet instead. Front office manager, Brenda, was just as rude. She defended him and wouldn't even listen to what he had said to me. Patients deserve to be treated with care and respect. Definitely would not recommend - you'll be dealing with your pain & also upset from deplorable treatment. VERY upsetting!
Incredibly rude. First-time patients shouldn't have to fight to finish a sentence, especially when they're giving their medical history for the first time. Spent so much time interrupting my answers, the info he would reiterate back was completely incorrect. Definitely likes to hear himself talk. Wrote a script that contraindicated with samples he sent home. Assistant is just as unpleasant. STEER CLEAR--your health depends on it!
I had several questions that I wanted answered before having a particular procedure done. Dr. Allen arrogantly dismissed my questions, saying "I've been doing this for X years, I know what I'm doing, trust me". He came off as arrogant, aloof, & seemed like he wanted to rush me out of the office so that he could move on to his next patient. Even his front office staff was curt and unwelcoming.
I red the reviews about how rude they are( I'm talking about everybody staff and Dr. ) but didn't expect to have that experience with the staff and Dr. Allen.
This Doctor, is careful, thoughtful, and deliberate. He is a great person and a knowledgable physician, and I do recommend him to anyone needing a urologist.
They were trying to send me to a urology surgeon 40 miles from home ... so I set out to find my own surgeon to treat my prostate cancer and ended up using Dr Allen, the initial consultation sold me. I do a lot of research and probably knew what I was supposed to be told and the doctor hit every point. He made me feel like I could trust him. I am post op, at this time and I don't think I could have had a better team than Dr Allen and his people. His assistant at the office is AWESOME!!
I highly recommend DR. Allen kept me inform and support after surgery. Thank You Irv
Extremely rude nurse and Doctor, with little care about post-op treatment. I would never recommend them to family.
Consulted with him about my problem, worked on solving problem, finally had surgery. Dr. Allen could not have been a better doctor from beginning to end. I completely trust him and his professional skill. Do not hesitate to have him as your doctor.
