I have been a patient of Dr. Allen for over 10 years. If I could give him 10 stars I would. He knows his business and gives you excellent care with no drama. I am most fortunate to have him as my Doctor.
I had severe UPJ obstruction and needed robotic pyeloplasty. I had robotic pyeloplasty on 2/25/20, with Dr. Allen. I want to thank him and Amy Moore for taking such good care of me. Dr. Allen is professional, caring, and he has great bedside manner. I was scared knowing that I had to have this surgery. Dr. Allen explained the procedure in great detail and put me at ease with his calm demeanor. The surgery went well and I was home the next day. I would highly recommend Dr. Allen.
I have been seeing Dr. Allen for a number of years and he is highly competent, easy to understand and will give you all needed information directly and in term that are easy to understand. I have had him do a procedure in the hospital and all treatments have been successful. I will continue to see him as long as I have the need to see a urologist. Great listener and bedside manor.
I underwent A TURP surgery with Dr. Allen in June of this year, and I feel better than I have in years. I am quite perplexed at the common theme running through some of the more critical reviews. I have found Dr. Allen to be anything but rude, arrogant, or condescending. I agree his demeanor is man-to-man, like two guys conversing over a beer – and that’s just the way I like it. He is in fact easy to talk to, is a competent and brilliant doctor, and is an outstanding surgeon!
Had a no scalpel vasectomy by Dr Allen. Absolutely no pain and made it very easy. No pain like all the stories I have heard at work. Can't recommend enough.
I have been seeing Dr Allen for about nine years and have found him to be very informative, as well as, a great listener. I have found him to be very competent in his field and have had a couple of procedures by him. He recently performed a TURP on me and I am thoroughly pleased with the results of the surgery. I can wholeheartedly recommend Dr Mark Allen.
I do not understand the negative reviews. Rude? No way is Dr. Allen rude. He is very personable and listens to your concerns. I would recommend him to anyone needing a urologist.
I'm tired of people wanting their doctor to hold their hand, wipe their noses and candy coat their condition. I'm tired of reading and hearing their doctor didn't cradle them. I don't want that kind of care. I want someone who is straight forward and tells it like it is. Dr. Allen is that physcian.. He does care and knows what he's doing. He is highly respected among his peers. And I am happy I am under his care. No more tears. Let's get to the business of healing.
