Regular teeth cleaning was excellent and efficient. Staff is personable and professional.I was asked if I wanted to make an appointment to continue the next phase in getting an implant. I can not. With my income and my struggles to get by, the estimated amount beyond which my insurance will cover is excessive and not affordable. Dr. Vasilakis: On Oct. 14, 2015, I had my teeth cleaned by Betty. While doing so, she noticed a sliver of a tooth that I had lost earlier underneath my gums, She took a picture of it, and said she would report it to you. She questioned me substantially. The area was not, and still is not. at all sensitive or painful. I still check its position and condition with my finger once a week or so. Very comfortable environment with welcoming staff that call you by your name and are attentive, smart, listen, and explain all and every procedure. I was blown away by the hygienists knowledge of my past dental history and her ability to gauge my current situation with limited information. The massage chair was unreal and made the cleaning extremely comfortable. My teeth actually looked much better after the cleaning and I had no pain or discomfort. I had a cleaning done and I was happy with the service.
In the past I've had problems with dentists dismissing pain I was having as merely side effects from grinding my teeth, which I haven't done since I was a kid. Dr. Maria actually listened to me, explained what was wrong, and discussed my options with me before we decided on a treatment plan. Not only was she helpful and patient, but the dental assistants, receptionists, even other doctors I wasn't seeing would stop to answer my questions and were extremely nice and knowledgeable. Dr. Maria came recommended to me by a colleague. After I had a filling break, I was able to quickly get an appointment. Dr. Maria and the staff were very friendly and honest when it came to my dental care. I was given a treatment plan with the up front costs , which was very helpful especially since I do not have dental insurance. They were able to work with me to fit the dental work into my schedule. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a dentist.
