Just plain awful. Children and adolescents do not need a doctor as stern as this one. I wish she was not my first psychiatrist because now I am scared that all of them are like her. She made me afraid of receiving the treatment that I need.

Dr Fijman came into my life about a year ago when I was diagnosed with a litany of serious health issues. My first point is Dr Fijman’s a really great listener. We did some simple labs and we determined some of my struggles were stemmed from taking wrong medications, but also not using some simple medications/nutrients that Dr Fijman has researched and have been life changing for me. She’s an academician. My life is different and I’d certainly recommend Dr Fijman for those looking for change.

I see she hasn't changed since my son saw her over a year ago. He was dumped because the RECEPTIONIST didn't believe my reason for missing ONE appointment!!! Dr. Fijman needs to be disbarred for her terrible patient/client relationship. She will tell you what you said at the last appointment even though it's wrong. She shows no sympathy. It's hard enough dealing with a depressed child on top of adding her to the situation. Run! You have been fairly warned. Wish I had been!!

Dr. Fijman will make you wait in the waiting room for 30+ minutes for your appointment if you arrive on time. She is inattentive and does not register what you are actually saying to her about how you feel and what you need. She is inflexible and dismissive, and is not open to discuss treatment options with you. She thinks her way is best and it doesn't seem to matter what the patient feels. Do not recommend.

I have been seeing Dr. Fijman for about 2 years now and can't say enough great things about here. I've seen sooo many doctors throughout my 20 years of having anxiety and they all just want to throw drugs at me, maybe speak to me for 5 mins. Dr. Fijman is NOT that way at all. She listens and explains things, and backs it up with medical books and study's. She can be stern, but it's like your grandmother, she sees through the lies and just wants to help those who want to be helped.

Such a horrible Dr. she should be embarrassed to be in this type of work. So rude and doesn’t listen to the patient at all. If you miss any appointments you will be dropped as a patient. Doctors in this field should want to HELP people not just be in it for the money. She rushes people in and out and prescribes pills without asking for patient input.

I Didn't even get the chance to see the doctor. But just my time with the office manager Lynn i can predict that dr. Fijman wouldn't have been much different.

Dr Fijman is a very thorough doctor and explains the medical processes in a language you can understand. She backs up everything she says with her medical books so you can see for yourself. Be organized and come prepared to take notes. She is great about researching and expanding her knowledge in the medical field. My 9 year old son loves her for how much she has helped him. She is stern with him when needed and he respects her for doing so. She has help our family piece together a lot.
