I took off work and drove 45 mins to his office for the staff to tell me someone forgot to document my appointment so I set another one then I took another half day of work to attend. I was having some organ prolapse and wanted a second opinion. My OBGYN and my pelvic floor therapist both recommended that I get a second opinion. There was a lot of discussion about why I should or should not be there because my condition was not bad enough for surgery. That is all I wanted to hear from him, but he acted like there was absolut... read more
Was referred to Dr. Epstein by a friend over2 years ago. A recent visit discovered a problem that needed a surgical remedy
Pre procedure & post-procedure incorrect (according to my husband retired medical DR). This man has a very good opinion of himself & lets you know it at every turn.
First, the room had not been cleaned before I was taken back. The paper on the exam table was crumpled and then it was rushed to be cleaned when it was questioned. My pain and knowledge of my own body and the changes internally that I had noticed were dismissed and I was told verbally I had no prolapse. A second doctor has now diagnosed me with a second degree prolapse and is performing surgery. I cancelled my follow... read more
I found this office to be well organized to assess the issues efficiently and provide options for treatment.
The staff is wonderful. They are helpful and caring. I felt pressured into deciding on a surgery that I ultimately don’t need by Dr. Epstein. Dr. Epstein’s bedside manner is abrupt. I had an issue that required me to call the after hours line following a procedure. No one called back that night. I spoke to a nurse the next day but didn’t hear from Dr. Epstein for 2 days. The problem was caused by him not providing post procedure instructions. I don’t recommend this doctor.
I have found Dr. Epstein over the last year and a half to be the most caring, thoughtful, and thorough doctor I have ever been to. I was totally impressed and confident in his expertise in his field, he explains in detail, cares about you and in my opinion an excellent surgeon. I highly recommend him! So thankful that he has taken excellent care of me and solved my issue.
