Dr. Bouch is kind, caring, and knowledgeable. She listens attentively to our concerns and happily answers questions. She has seen all four of my kiddos since we moved to Caledonia when our kids were 6, 5, 4, & 2 years old. We’ve been through ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and a very rare genetic disorder called SCA. Now my children are teens and getting close to aging out. I am thankful for having such a wonderful pediatrician in our community. I highly recommend Dr. Laura Bouch!
She was the on call doctor twice now when calling for after hours needs. She always seems annoyed. Neither time did she introduce herself. I actually had to call back the answering service and ask who it was. She does not use my first name but names like 'dear'. She said I can do what I want it's my child when asking advice about a holistic approach to push us through till office hours.Just rude. I would rather bring my child to the ER than an in person visit with her.
Medical assistant called to inform us that our newborns TSH levels caused concerns with the state and that we needed to come in ASAP for new blood work. Out of concern we came that same day. After blood draw we asked to speak to a nurse or Doctor Bouch about the results and understand the nature of the concern. We were told to speak with the doctor we would be charged an office visit. We accepted out of concern but were surprised that the doctor couldn’t provide us 5 minutes of explanation especially when we were told this w... read more
I found her to be very caring. She is very straightforward in her conversation and it not afraid to tell you if you are wrong/misinformed, etc. I love that about her. I want what is best for my child, not to be made to feel all warm and fuzzy if I am not helping provide the best medical care I could.
Have seen her with all 3 of my children for the last 11 years. She is wonderful, comprehensive, listens to what I have to say and works with me to come up with a treatment plan.
Lost my daughters blood draw. She was 3 and they lied to me about it. Never received allergy information as treatment planned.
Communication skills are terrible. If you make a decision for your child that she doesn't agree with, she will make you feel bad about it or try to talk you into what she wants you to do. She will not voice concerns in appointments but then notes in chart indicate causes for concern. Would not recommend. Have given her 2 years and am done.
She was rude and unhelpful. It is never appropriate to lecture a new patient.
