I saw Dr. Alberton many years ago for a shoulder injury. This doctor was rude, disrespectful, and insulting. When she first entered the exam room she looked at me and asked “have you been shooting up or doing anything that would give you AIDS?!” I was shocked that she would ask such a question. She showed no interest in my shoulder injury. I had a frozen shoulder and limited range of motion after a fall. When I explained to her that I could no longer lift my arm all the way, she rudely asked “Why do you need to do that?!”. I... read more

I was recommended to Dr. Alberton when my original orthpedist informed me that he was no longer doing surgery. I had surgery on my left knee, as a result of an injury I incurred while working out. My left knee was swollen for months. I finally saw Dr. Alberton. She recommended surgery, explaining what needed to be done and why. She answered all my questions. Her staff was very friendly and, also, answered all of my questions. Since the surgery, I have had zero knee pain and I am back to doing everything I could do before my ... read more

Dr. Alberton patiently explained me the situation I was in post my injury while playing soccer. My meniscal repair was immediately needed as it had folded into my joint which was limiting my extension. Post my 1st surgery, I had trouble achieving my flexion. She made sure to evaluate me periodically and finally suggested manipulation to help achieve flexion of my left knee. Post 2nd surgery, she recommended that I push harder than before as slacking could lead to slower recovery. She was happy with my progress and had conver... read more

After 3 months of pt with no improvement I was sent to Dr Albertson for surgery. At that time, I could not lift 10 lbs from the ground or raise my arm above the shoulder. She evaluated, pressnted me with options and carefully explained the pros and cons of each option. Surgery was extensive involving a tendonopothy, cleaning debris from joints and rotor cuffs, some planing of bone After only 2 monthes, I am pain free outside of physical therapy and starting the strenght training portion of my recovery. FYI, 3 weeks ago I was... read more
I've had an excellent experience with Dr. Alberton. All our communications with clear, complete and efficient. All my questions were answered. I'm making steady progress and expecting a full recovery.
I had a highly disappointing experience with Dr. Laura Alberton. Not only was she condescending, but she also displayed a complete lack of concern for my well-being. I visited her with a fractured ankle, in considerable pain, but she refused to listen to my complaints. To make matters worse, she dismissed my request for an MRI and simply suggested physical therapy. It was only when I sought a second opinion from another specialist that I discovered I indeed had an ankle fracture. Dr. Alberton's apparent indifference to my co... read more
Years ago I had a terrible experience with Alberton. I had shoulder pain for months and was finally referred to her. When examining me, she asked me to raise my arm. I did what she asked and to what was comfortable without pain. And she said “oh, come on” and grabbed my wrist and yanked my arm above my head. I shrieked from the pain and burst into tears. I got the impression she thought I was faking it and her attitude seemed like I didn’t deserve any serious attention. This was an incredibly traumatic experience for me. For... read more

Dr. Alberton was easy to talk to, clearly cared about my well being, and the results from my meniscus surgery have been great.
30 second tests, a don't care attitude for whether the patient feels better or not
