Dr. Hummel always answers all of my questions in depth and very thoroughly. I appreciate how she can describe things very scientifically, but I’m a level that I will understand. Even though I am highly educated, I still am not a physician of course… And I need explanation that makes sense on my level. She is very caring, and I appreciate her persistence in trying to understand the root of the issues as opposed to just treating the symptoms.
She explained my issues in detail. I found her to be very empathetic. Seemed very warm and kind. You can tell she loves the medical field. I appreciate her strait forwardness.

Excellent. She explained the cause of my problem; the anatomy involved; and the reason for my symptoms. I learned more from her than the neurosurgeon.

Rude and insulting. Walked out as I tried to explain new, different pain I am having that is greatly interfering with quality of life. Now my primary care Dr has had to send me to UK sports med clinic to do proper imaging after identifying a serious issue. Not sure why I go to a pain treatment center to have my pain issues ignored. Office staff is rude. Covid precautions were NOT followed carefully while patients were lined up in the hallway with other patients passing closely and going in and out of restrooms in between the... read more
Dr Hummel spent time to really see me and listen to me. She cares. She is thoughtful. She taught me about my condition and the treatment options, and helped me to think through it all.
