Dr. Shurtleff is a good doctor, but her staff is horrendous. Rude and unprofessional. The wait is always 2+ hours. Each visit is an all-day ordeal. Calls for Rx refills or other information are often ignored. It's only getting worse and after 10 years, I found another doctor. I no longer dread a visit to the doctor.
I simply love Dr. Shurtleff. I have been a patient of hers for over 10 years. It is true that you need to plan on a 2 -3 hour wait -but that is because she takes time with her patients. Basically she takes all the time YOU need to answer questions. She is a gem!
She's a very good doctor, but in my last visit I was weating for her 2 hours and 52 minutes and this is no the first time happen ,she overbooked all time .
I takes forever to get an appointment and once you do , plan on a good 2-3 hour wait.. on a good day. They have problems keeping your prescriptions up to date because they never answer anything faxed to them. If you have any medication that you are not supposed to be without; you can count on running out and nothing being done until you can see the doctor. People bring their food into the office and eat like pigs and leave a mess in the waiting room!
