And I mean…she totally rocks! There’s no one better qualified as a breast specialist, but Dr. Kristi brings so much more to the table. She’s kind, positive, caring, thorough in her examinations, assessments, and explanations, and quite simply, she’s wonderful to be around. The room lights up when she walks in the examination room! Dr. Funk is not only an incredibly skilled surgeon, but her willingness to spend time and energy with every patient provides comfort in a time that can be traumatic.
Grateful for Dr. Funk! When I received a complicated test result from one of the large hospital groups, the doctor went over all of the potential reasons that it could be dire. Yet when I tried to make the follow up appointment the earliest date they could offer 6 weeks (even after explaining all of the dire, calling my primary doctor etc. I called Pink Lotus. Dr Kristy Funk is an absolute lifesaver. Pink Lotus ihappens to be wonderful breast center for yearly checkups, with a dedicated and knowledgeable staff. Everyone at the office, including Dr. Funk, was very nice and kind. Dr. Funk was reassuring, knowledgeable and calm. I went in for fibrocystic breast issues and she helped me understand more about the condition and how to be my healthiest self. I definitely recommend her to anyone feeling nervous or confused
