Staff is very concerned and respectful. Dr Funk demonstrates the perfect balance of exceptional medical care along with a personal touch. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. You are treated like family.
Dr. Kristi rocks! And I mean…she totally rocks! There’s no one better qualified as a breast specialist, but Dr. Kristi brings so much more to the table. She’s kind, positive, caring, thorough in her examinations, assessments, and explanations, and quite simply, she’s wonderful to be around. The room lights up when she walks in the examination room! Have been a patient of Dr Funk’s since 2008 and has saved me from two bouts of breast cancer. I left the state and will return across the country once a year until the end of time to continue to be under her care. She is as wonderful a person as she is a skilled surgeon, caring and thoughtful and direct. Any patient is incredibly fortunate to have her on her team.
I've been seeing Dr. Funk since 2002, when I developed a clogged milk duct while breastfeeding. Since there is a family history of breast cancer, I wanted to make sure it wasn't a lump. Kristi was great with me then and has been my doctor ever since. She's so informative and easy to talk to. She's seen me through many things including removing a benign lump and various different biopsies. She is the only doctor I trust with my breast health.

From the first phone call, visiting the office, examination, to scheduling surgery, the whole team is so friendly and professional. Dr Funk has a great team supporting her. Just as Dr Funk herself, they are all listening and doing everything possible to make you feel comfortable and safe. During the actual examination, Dr Funk directs all her attention to you and your needs. She provides options and clear pros and cons. I felt so well taken care of. I recommend any breast cancer patient to see Dr Funk.
She always gives 100% and is available and caring. Her level of skill and knowledge is unsurpassed! Grateful she is there for me and my family.
I had a lumpectomy performed by Dr. Funk a couple of years ago. I'm always nervous for any type of medical procedure but I was so comfortable with her that I wasn't anxious at all. She was also very respectful about my treatment decision. She is so kind and caring and I completely trust her with my life.
