Dr. Funk has been my physician since 2007. In 2013 I was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer and she literally saved my life. The biopsy came back clear on one side and she had a gut feeling that it was wrong. Dr. Funk turned out to be correct, as pathology after my lumpectomy showed they missed the sample in the biopsy. I'm here 12 years later with no evidence of disease, thriving and so grateful for her care and attention. I continue to see Dr. Funk every six months for wellness check-ups. Dr Funk is a rarity for a doctor. She is intelligent, kind, warm and incredibly knowledgeable in her field. She is very prepared for every appointment with in depth notes, she explains information in a clear, concise manner and she consistently follows through with after care. I cannot recommend her enough.
Although I was nervous to go to have my breast examined after 3 lumps suddenly appeared, I was instantly calmed when going to the Pink Lotus. Beautiful shades of pink in the office and a friendly, warm and efficient staff welcomed me. Meeting Dr Kristi and being in the presence of her kindness intelligence and grounded guidance, I too felt grounded.
