I find Dr. Funk to be incredibly knowledgeable about all things related to women’s breast health. From the first phone call, visiting the office, examination, to scheduling surgery, the whole team is so friendly and professional. Dr Funk has a great team supporting her. Just as Dr Funk herself, they are all listening and doing everything possible to make you feel comfortable and safe. During the actual examination, Dr Funk directs all her attention to you and your needs. She provides options and clear pros and cons. I felt so well taken care of. I recommend any breast cancer patient to see Dr Funk.

I had a lumpectomy performed by Dr. Funk a couple of years ago. I'm always nervous for any type of medical procedure but I was so comfortable with her that I wasn't anxious at all. She was also very respectful about my treatment decision. She is so kind and caring and I completely trust her with my life.

I went through early stage bilateral breast cancer treatment, starting in July 2023. I do feel my treatment team is great but I don't feel my surgeon is that approachable with questions & concerns I had. I was first diagnosed with Invasive lobular carcinoma in January of 2019 and was referred to Dr Funk by my primary care physician. Her level of expertise, care and compassion is unrivaled. When my second bout of cancer came nearly five years later in the form of DCIS there wasn’t even a question of who I went to for treatment. Dr Funk is constantly keeping up with the latest findings and the “go to” expert in this field, bar none!

Dr. Funk is compassionate and kind. She made me feel so comfortable during our first meeting. It was like talking to a friend. I wasn't nervous or anxious before the surgery, which is unusual for me.
