This Dr. told my mother who has been diagnosed with Hashimotos for YEARS that she does not have it and all of her labs are fine. “WHO told you that?” Was her response when my mom mentioned her diagnosis and was seeking help for her symptoms. I have been diagnosed with Hashimotos for almost a year now and I can’t even fathom that this “Dr” told my mom “there’s nothing wrong with your labs. You need to see a psychiatrist”. She is a very pleasant person and I'm glad to have her as my endocrinologist. She talks to me & answers all my questions.
This lady is a joke, long story short, supposedly my biopsy for nodules in my thyroid came back inconclusive so she strongly suggested surgery right away. After surgery, they did a biopsy and I was fine. She also seemed pretty distant and as a matter of fact person. Eventually she denied me services because supposedly I canceled my appointments too much.
As a new patient, I waited about 4-5 months for a new patient. Okay, I went in to see MD seem okay. I had to tell her what's going on and where I had testing done to compare previous testing. Notified that father had thyroid issues as well. Set up a plan, blood work, and another US. Okay, the results are back. I haven't heard anything, so I decided to wait but sent a message, Mychart. She finally responded but asked me what I wanted to do... I don't know. I am not the dr. Now, I am looking to get a second opinion.
I waited four months for an appointment and arrived 15 minutes early as instructed. I was called back 15 minutes after my appointment time and after my vital signs were taken and medication review I was informed Dr. Pham would be right in. 5 minutes later the staff member returned to tell me Dr. Pham was running behind and had two patients to see before me. By this time it was already almost 30 minutes past my appointment time and I had been there almost 45 minutes. I chose to leave and not reschedule.
