My son has Spina Bifida and saw Dr.Akey as a newborn to almost 2 years of age. I never had to worry about his care because Dr.Akey was always on top of everything and it put my mind at ease. He would even pray over my son in his office which meant so much to us. The whole office went above and beyond. We recently moved out of the area and had to re-establish care. Amazing experience. Family owned and operated, husband and wife small practice (like my husband and me). So great with kids and has an abundance of knowledge. Truly cares and takes his time. I Have hope that Dr Akey has helped my baby be happy again, with all his acid reflux and tummy problems... Which is priceless.

I love that he is all about nutrition and natural solutions before pushing medication as a first option. He supports doing things as naturally as possible and trusts a mothers instinct.
We love Dr. Akey and Mrs. Akey! He treats my kids like a loving grandpa. He's been such a great doctor always there to listen to my concerns and heal our three children. He also is wonderful about praying with us. We cannot recommend him enough!
