Dr. Akey was the pediatrician for all six of my kids from birth & adoption through teen years, and if I had the choice, we would still be with him. He helped us with chronic illness, broken bones, stitches, burns, fevers, pneumonia, bumps, bruises, tears, and always had a solution and a prayer. He visited us in the hospital and called to check up on us numerous times. He is a godly, kind man and we miss him.
Such an incredible man. His wife is just as amazing. I’m so happy they have come to Newnan. He really interacted with my son. He asked consent to give him a check up and explained to him why he was looking in his ears and in his mouth. My son ended up laughing instead of crying. Unreal. Absolutely wonderful visit.

He was my and my sister's pediatrician and now he's my daughters' pediatrician. Such a blessing to have him take care of my babies!
My two sons have been seeing Dr Akey since February. Recently my son was hospitalized and Dr Akey took it upon himself to come in and visit us everyday, took a look at his work ups and helped us choose the best possible route of care. He is always so friendly and is the only Dr my two year old will let near him without screaming. I couldn't have gotten through that scary time without his reassurance and advice. This man has a God given gift for working with families and children. Thank you Dr Akey!!!
Dr. Akey was our pediatrician from 2004 until he moved out of Ca. My kids still remember him! (11 & 9 now). I'm so happy he's back in Ca. We never did find a good fit for our kiddos after him. He set the bar too high for all the other peds! Thank you for all your wisdom and guidance back then. I was a much more relaxed mom because of you! We were blessed to have you while we did. I love this sweet man! He is so good to my son! He is very patient with me as a new first time mom and all my questions ! I feel very comfortable with him and his staff.
