It is currently August 2023 and I called to see if Dr. Burns is taking on new patients because her reviews are awesome and I'm looking for a new primary doctor -- and they informed me that she is not taking new patients until at least September of NEXT YEAR . . . 2024. A lot of good that does anyone reading reviews.
I lived in NW Iowa for many years and left my very trusted Dr of over 10 years. I was nervous about finding a new PCP. A friend recommended Dr. Burns. I think she is amazing. I never feel rushed with her and she is extremely responsive when I send a message through my portal.
Outstanding physician who takes time to listen and evaluate patients needs.
Dr. Burns is a fantastic doctor! Easy to talk to and relatable. Listens to your concerns. Happy to do research if you ask something she doesn't know offhand. Caring and compassionate. Responds promptly through the UnityPoint portal. You won't find better
