My wife scheduled a legitimate appointment with Dr. Juan Guzman and what happened at check-in was absolutely unacceptable. Instead of simply charging her insurance deductible like every normal medical office does, the receptionist demanded that she leave a credit card on file. When my wife questioned this, she was then told that if she didn’t want to give a card, she would be forced to leave a $150 “deposit” just to be seen. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Blum. My visit was quick, efficient, and very professional. He took the time to listen and answered all of my questions with patience and clarity. Every concern I mentioned, he acknowledged and explained carefully. I really appreciate his calm, respectful demeanor and how thorough he was in addressing my liver concerns.
