Terrible dr. Refused to take me off of meds I was having a severe reaction to. Said some extremely insensitive things to me.

If i could give 0 or negative stars I would. My dad was basically insulted, treated like a child and was looking for help for his anxiety. This so called "doctor" should no longer be in practice. DO NOT SEE THIS MAN. His receptionist is also incredibly rude for no reason at all. That office is an embarrassment.

Dr Wassef was just who I needed at this stage of my life. He helped me get past some horrible experiences and I am very grateful for that. Office staff is also very nice.

One of the things I appreciate about Dr. Wassef the most (and there are many) is that if you truly want to get better and are willing to follow his plan of treatment for you, you will. He is direct, and has an uncanny ability to "pull" information out when necessary, but does so without pushing too hard. I appreciate his gentle, no-nonsense approach; b/c of it, I live a balanced and happy life that I never thought possible. I would recommend him to anyone!

I like Dr Wassef. I am 71 and have had depression for over 15 years. I was skeptical when I saw him from all the negative reviews. But I found him to be courteous, concerned and professional. He asks specific questions at each appointment and asks if I have any questions or issues. I would recommend him to my family and friends. I noticed that he had both older and young clients. His staff are so very nice and helpful. It is a relaxed office and I enjoy talking to the other clients.

I wish I could put 0 stars. HE IS HORRIBLE. How is he even a psychiatrist? Worst experience of my life. Didn't let me talk at all, insists his patients only give yes or no answers, tries to diagnose patients without even really attempting to know them...makes faces when you try and give ANY sort of elaboration...makes you feel less then human and not worth hearing. HORRIBLE experience. He labeled me with tons of stuff I don't even have, and then UPed my meds, even though he never asked me my exp

My friend was in such need of help. Dr. Wassef has made a remarkable difference in her outlook and ability to function on a daily basis. He was very direct & to the point. He explained to her what his recommendations were & what she needed to do in order to get her life back. She wanted to get better & with Dr Wassef's help is now able to lead a real life again. Thank you Dr. Wassef

This man clearly entered the wrong field. You'd be better off finding a brick wall to go talk to for 15 minutes. If you do see him, expect that he won't listen, and will ask you arbitrary questions to make your visit seem longer. I came to him with serious issues and he was very dismissive of any information I gave him. I have debilitating ADHD, and because of past marijuana use he automatically assumed I was a drug seeker, despite stopping at his request.

I came to see this doctor after my mother committed suicide. I let him know about what medicines worked for me but he chose a diff med. Told me to start at two pill per day. Luckily I only took one pill, but even so I had a bad reaction, couldn't function or walk barely for days. Due to the reaction and grief and just confusion that goes along with mental illness, I thought my insurance wouldn't pay and cancelled my appointment. I explained my situation and that I needed to see him but he refuse
