I was recommended to Dr Selem because of a eye/vision condition which I was by treated by three different ophthalmologists with no improvement. Dr Selem did such a thorough evaluation and recommended to see a different specialist. The specialist also evaluated me and provided me evidence of my condition. If I had not seen Dr. Selem who took the time to listen, looked and research his findings I would probably have gone blind. Thank you Dr Selem you are truly amazing
I went to treat my glaucoma and the person who saw me was a nurse practitioner. Nothing wrong with that, However, this was not disclosed to me. When I asked the assistants for a card for who saw me they handed me the card but wrote down the name of the person who saw me as Dr. Armando Estevez. He is a nurse practitioner, not a doctor. A nurse practitioner is limited in their certification and as a patient I am entitled to know this ahead of time. I am a 44 year old man who experienced vision loss for the first time in my life. I was terrified . I found out from Dr. Selem that I needed cataract surgery in my right eye. He educated me about my choices, about the costs (upfront), and about the entire process, from beginning to end. I felt immediate trust and comfort. The whole procedure went beautifully and he was truly amazing. If you need cataract surgery.. run, don’t walk to Dr. Selem, he and his team will give your life back to you.
Front office staff is RUDE, Dr. Salem, fire her before she has more people go other optometrists.

He may be a great doctor but his front office staff is rude and nasty. If you call they don’t answer the phones and when they do they’ll place you on hold and never get back. This doctor should be ashamed how his front office staff at the Coral Gables treats his patients!
I'm more than satisfied with my eyelid surgery performed by Dr Selem. He is an outstanding Doctor, very professional and very nice and caring with his patients. He explains everything in a very clear way, and makes the patients feel comfortable during the visit. I highly recommend Dr Selem to any person expecting an excellent job in their eye surgery.
