I am new to the practice and cannot make a decision on the doctor yet, but to say he was focused on my test results and wrote notes, didn't really talk too much. I totally agree about the staff though. No smile when greeted, just a sparky "name" and the older one really needs to just retire. I heard her on the phone with clearly elderly person, with no patience, and hung up and said unkind things about the call to her coworker. Not professional at all.
Waited an hour without seeing the doctor. Staff did not provide an updates on the delay. Still had to wear a mask and was asked to wear no perfume.
Dr. Elman is a caring and compassionate doctor who is an expert in his field. He really stands apart from other doctors nowadays who may make patients feel like they are just a number. Dr. Elman takes the time to listen and help his patients. He takes time out of his day to personally call if necessary, which is a rare thing in my experience with other doctors. Horrible rude staff!! Heard the nurses on call with patients very rude and the. Talked about them when they hung up! They are more worried about your covid vac status than anything else. They still in 2023 make you call from parking lot and wear masks! They barked at me when it fell under my nose. Then when I was in exam room again it went under my nose and the rude nurse again scolded me. I said my glasses are fogging. How can I do a vision test with fogged glasses???
