Dr. Kim was exceptionally skilled and competent--and pleasant to deal with. Probably the best I can say is that, three years later, the opposite end of my spine is giving me significant problems (initially I had lumbar fusion surgery). Now the nerves emanating from the right cervical vertebrae are posing problems, -- and without any reservation I am returning to Dr. Kim for this new problem. I anticipate a smooth surgery and smooth recovery!
Dr Kim is an extremely skilled surgeon who seeks alternative treatments before surgery. He listens intently to your concerns and symptoms with understanding that leads to an accurate diagnosis. All this with an unparalleled bed side manner which is equal to his exceptional medical skill.
Very observant and looked for things I hadn’t even thought of. Really gave me insight into what I was feeling and why. Great bed side manner and comfortable to talk to.
If any family member or friend is in need of Dr. Kim I will certeanly recommend his services.

Excellent surgical outcome!! Instructions following surgery (beyond initial post op appointment) were lacking so be sure to ask questions. I was also a little concerned about the post op medications given the opioid problems. Be careful with the meds. However, would recommend Dr. Kim in a second!! He had me and standing upright right after surgery after being bed ridden and unable to walk for months (and didn't need those meds anyway).
From start to finish the staff with Dr Kim and himself as well as all involved with my surgery we're amazing, informative, friendly, and caring. Best Doctor and hospital experience I have had. My thanks to all were involved in my experience and God Bless every one of you.
I had ACDF surgery that replaced the discs between my C5, C6, and C7 vertebrae. I woke up from surgery with no pain in my shoulders for the first time in months, and was off the pain medication the next day. All and all this was a life changing experience. The recommended exercise and diet changes resulted in me loosing 18 pounds, and 3 months after surgery I feel better than I have in 10 years. Big thanks to Dr Kim, and especially to his PA Jessica.
