Dr. Orbay took care of my shoulder surgery. Recovery was quick. It's only been a few months, already playing tennis again. Friendly staff, very busy office. Dr. Orbay is an expert in his field, a little bit of a wait is expected when visiting the office. Overall, great experience.

I had a great experience with Doctor Orbay. I had surgery on my elbow, and just a few weeks later. All my pain was gone. I'm almost 100% and it hasn't even been a month since the surgery. They really care about their patients at the Miami Hand Institute and I would recommend them to anybody.

I recently had Dr Orbay do the surgery in my hand. He is very experienced doctor, as well as a nice person - caring and thoughtful. He dedicates his time to every patient. The staff at his office is very nice as well. I recommend Dr Orbay to everyone that need a doctor for a hand, elbow or shoulder injury.

The usual complaint I see is of wait times. This is true. The office is jam packed. There is a reason the office is packed: This is one of the finest hand surgeons in the world. And I am saying this both as a patient, and as a highly skilled surgical nurse. Thus for my own fracture (twice), I chose the long wait. I knew that Dr. Orbay is giving his time to his patients, working, 14, 16, 20 hour days. He will give all his time & expertise to you. You are fortunate to receive it. P. Snyder

Right on on the Diagnosis. Surgery was a success. Only complaint, he was very personable on first visit. Not so on day of surgery or follow up visits. Very large practice and staff seems overwhelmed. Packed ALL the time. Some areas of office are very warm. Physical Therapy department, not the best.

Worst experience ever! After waiting for 2 hours and 45 mins to see the Dr. he finally showed up. When I respectfully complained about the long wait, he told me that if I didn't like it I should leave. He refused to attend to me. DO NOT GO TO THIS ARROGANT Dr. unless you have time to wait half a day and deal with someone who doesn't respect their patients. MANUEL PORTUONDO

My first impression of Dr. Orbay is that he is an extremely compassionate physician. He speaks to you with warmth and gives you honest attention. Dr. Orbay's opinions come from a place of foresight and experience, and so self-designated Google doctors be wary. Dr. Orbay tells it like it is. I love that I can truly tell he has his patients' best interests in mind. He won't prescribe meds or perform surgery, unless he deems it necessary because medicine is his passion, not just his livelihood.

This doctor was the the worst experience I had during my recovery after a double fracture of the wrists his arrogance and despotism was totally out of order.the consequences remain as a punishment for the rest of my life, as I was at the hands of this charlatan.I sincerely hope that Dr. Orbay has changed its attitude for the sake of other patients . but all he did was in favor of workers compensation ensurance,It is very hard to believe that others have not gone through a similar experience . WS

Dr. Orbay,will take cases were other Doctors do not want because the Patient, might not have the coverage from their insurance, or the insurance might not pay what the treatment is worth, or it just might be a too complicated of a case. I had had my elbow replaced twice, and it ended up with it loosing and couldn't move it very much, he performed a 10 hr surgery, replacing bones, that had been damaged by a treatment of un necessary radiation on a previous surgery, He made my elbow and arm work.
