Overpromise and under deliver should be their motto – then follow up with an upsell. Very disappointed results in their inability to effectively address. Unprofessiobal support staff - procedures and finance.
I had LASIK eye surgery at Dr. Ply's Murrells Inlet location. He and his staff were very thorough and professional. I left with 20/20 vision after wearing glasses/contacts my whole life! Just had my 6 week follow up and everything looks great. I highly recommend Dr. Ply and his staff.
Since Dr.Ply performed the cataract removal, Crystalens implants, and astigmatism repair my vision has deteriorated to the point I now must wear a patch sover my right. Other Physicains I have seen advised the astigmatism repair should never have been performed due to an existing karacatonis condition. Atlantice Eye and Dr. Ply should be scrutinized very carefully by any patients considering procedures. They rcecommend unnescessary, expensive procedures.

We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with your vision. Please keep in mind that treatment of keratoconus AND cataracts often means that more than one procedure is necessary that are 'staged' months apart. You were made aware that a corneal transplant procedure would likely be necessary, although vision improved in both of your eyes following the cataract/astigmatism procedures.
Good doctor, he performed a cataract removal, I the Intraocular Lense for the lense choice, and I'm 20/20 in that eye already. So far so good, I go for the other pre-op for my left eye in the morning 1/12/16, so he'll remove the other too. That should tell you something right there. :) I will tell you that this Doctor is a very early riser as his surgeries are very early in the morning! :)
