What always stands out when I have an appointment with Dr. Fegan is that he is willing to answer all my questions and doesn't rush me. He is willing to listen to and address any concerns I have. He has a very pleasant, non-frightening approach and a very easy-going sense of humor. He and Danish (or Robin) work to explain and clarify current conditions I have.

I had my post surgery appointment with Dr. Patel the day after surgery. I had a few questions, near the end of the questions he was curt He repeated the same response in an insulting tone when I asked two slightly different questions. He acted as though I were wasting his time. I was seen forty five minutes later than my scheduled appointment. Yet, I did not match his bad attitude. He said to schedule an appointment in four weeks. The scheduler could not do that because he is booked. I am still waiting to be scheduled. The a... read more

Simply put, Dr. Fegan is the single best doctor I ever went to. His abundent knowledge and the ability to explain it in layman's terms, was only matched by his kindness and consideration for my wife and my care. A sure-fire 5 star recommendation.

I was an initial patient. Appointment at 10:15am. At 11am I still hadn’t been called. Another patient there told us he had been waiting over two hours. The staff only shrugged. We left. Please have respect for other people’s time. I’m sorry to have to share this unfortunate experience but hope this saves someone else from wasting their time waiting with no end in sight.

I don't normally write reviews but I was compelled by the turn of events. Dr Patel performed cataract surgery on both my eyes in March 2023. As a result I have complications: PCO, Cystoid Macular Edema and panuveitis. I am now being treated by a retina specialist for both. As a result I also have negative dysphotopsia that has not improved since March. I did not go back to him because I do not trust him. On my 30 day post op visit I asked him a question and he responded: you can do anything you did before the surgery. I aske... read more

In 2010, I had a cornea transplant in my right eye and later, 4 stitches to correct some curvature. One day I popped a stitch (normal) and it caused irritation. Not able to get in to my cornea doc right away, his staff mistakenly told me to see an opthalmologist in our area. I called Dr. Ply, explaining my problem to his staff. He came in the room, immediately told me I could have Lasik (not looking at my eye). Even with the transplant, I asked, and he informed me I could have Lasik in the transplant eye after one year, but ... read more

My experience with Dr. Patel was excellent!! He performed three surgeries on my eyes, you couldn’t get a better doctor. So caring, he really listens to you, does not rush through the appointment. He’s an expert in his field. I thank God I was referred to him.

I was recommended by my eye doctor when I developed a cataract in my right eye and which are impaired my night vision driving and daily work. The original center in Long branch had moved and so after my cataract surgery the lens that was implanted didn’t work for the type of work I do… I am a professional portrait painter. Dr. Patel said I needed to exchange the lens to a monofocal so that I would get a good contrast and sharp vision. I waited a few months because the new center was being built in Eatontown. That was not fun... read more
