KUDOS WOW... I am absolutely amazed at some of the people that have an issue with the front desk staff and the nurses. I have been taking my children to Southside Pediatrics for 19 years. The front desk staff, the back office staff, the nurses and all of the doctors are absolutely phenominal !!! I have NEVER had any issues with rudeness or snobbiness...EVER. Love the Dr.- Not in love with the staff... I've been taking my girls to Dr. Phillips for 12 years now and he is the best!! My girls love this man so much that they ask me to take them to see Dr. Phillips :) It's great when your child needs to see their Dr. and they have no fear of going. I wish he was a Family Dr. so we all could use him. I would recommend him to any new mother or any mother seeking a new Pediatrition.
Watch Out For Dr. Gloyeske! My experience is with the nurses and front desk and Dr. Gloyeske. The front desk women are hateful and not nice at all. They act as if you are bothersome to their day. The nurses are hateful and non caring. The one today jabbed my kid with her shots as if she was stabbing a potato or steak. Dr. Gloyeske is the worst doctor in the world. He actually told my kid its all in her head how she has felt and been feeling that she is a hypocondriac spelled wrong im sure. He thinks she makes up her illnesse... read more
THE BEST PEDIATRICIAN EVER...DR. FREDRIKSZ Dr. Fredrikszis is a very good doctor. She was very kind when my son was born and I could not get him into a doctor's office because they were full and Dr Fredriksz said that she would see him because he was ill when he was born. That right there said that she cared and she would be a wonderful doctor. So for the past 17 months she has been his doctor and we love her to death. A better doctor couldn't have picked up and for that we are thankful for her.

Great Doctor! We had a pediatrician on another side of town and she made me feel like an idiot when it came to my son (even though he was my first child), then we found Dr. fredrikz and we love her. My son doesn't hate going to the doctor, she always tells me there are no stupid questions and she makes me feel good about the care my son is in. I agree about the staff that answers the phones and checks you in though, they can sometimes be very rude but have gotten better in the year that i have been taking my child there.
Dr. Fredriksz is AWESOME My daughter thinks she's "cool" because she (Dr. Fredriksz) dresses trendy-confortable, yet trendy...some may think "who cares" what she's wearing, but if it helps an anxious 7 year old relax, then please keep wearing your Roxy shoes Dr. Fredriksz! Dr. Fredriksz is a thorough pediatrician and shows genuine concern to me and my daughter-best pediatrician by far!
Great Doctors and Awesome Staff!!!! My children have been going to SS peds since they were born. Recently their dr. has retired, (Dr. Need) sad to say...but all the doctors there are fantastic!! I never have a problem getting them in to be seen, whether they be sick or well, and the wait time is very minimal. My oldest is 16 and she loves this office. They are patient and always try to answer any questions we may have. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else!!!
Great doctors! My kids have been going to this office since they were born, and my son will be 11 in December. They have always seen Dr. Need who has recently retired and my youngest son's first doctor appt with his new doctor is tomorrow and I look forward to meeting them.
