Would recommend this Dr. To anyone. Very good at what he does.
Had both knees replaced this year. Dr. Hoffman and his entire staff did an excellent job. All necessary appointments were scheduled in advance for me, including boot camp, MRI, pre-surgical labs and clearance with my primary care physician. In both surgeries at Trinity Terrace Park I was able to go home the next day and started physical therapy within the same week.
I recently had a complete knee replacement by Dr. Hoffman and I had a 5 star experience. Beginning with pre-op physical therapy, MRI based custom implant tools, patient education pre-op through Unity Point Hospital followed up with the Rapid Recovery program, my pain was manageable and my recovery was rapid. Plaza Therapy provided me with very positive rehab visits. Dr. Hoffman and his staff's attention to detail was critical to my positive results.
Over the course of two years Dr. Hoffman replaced both of my hips and both of my knees. I could not be happier and am able to do things I thought never possible again. Both he and the entire staff are professional, courteous and go out of their way to make you comfortable. His techniques had me recovering in record time and life was back to normal very quickly. I can't comment enough of how good my experience was. If you need work look no further, he is the man.
Within a 4 month time frame this winter, I went from walk 4-5 miles per day to struggling to make it around my block. After initial X-rays of my hips, I was sent to Dr. Hoffman’s practice, Orthopedic Specialists, for a consultation. After reviewing my x-rays, the first thing Dr Hoffman asked me was, “When would you like to schedule your hip replacement?”. Two months later, the first (left) hip replacement was done. Last week, Dr. Hoffman replaced my right hip, which was also degenerating.
I chose him because he is known for great outcomes. Unfortunately I was not one of them, and I did not get the help I needed. Perhaps the numbers are skewed? (If you don’t have a great outcome, you will screw up their stats. So instead, they just choose not to help find the root of the problem.)
9 days from total hip replacement and doing great. Dr. Hoffman and his team are top notch!
His competence and capacity to make me feel comfortable was evident immediately.. he explained clearly, and he helped me to schedule north of my knee replacements into my schedule. Easy office access and pleasant reception and other office staff. Of course every patient is no doubt different, but I had very little subsequent pain. I certainly would recommend Dr. John Hoffman. I
I had TKR of left knee 7/10/17 and TKR of right knee 8/21/17. Everything went very well, Follow their directions, they tell you what to expect. Dr Hoffman and his staff are the best in their field. Go to physical therapy, follow their excercise routine and you’ll be fine. I’m very happy with the outcome.
