great staff and clean office I could ask for better service all my questions were answered and the staff was really nice Dr.Debarros has great bedside manor and answered all of my questions
The staff were helpful and they knew their stuff. They guided me through all the choices that I needed to make. They were able to answer all my questions. I'm the type of person that is always early and they never kept me waiting.
Dr. De barros and his staff have been very helpful in my weight loss journey. Everything is explained fully so you understand. The support you get there is outstanding. It is nice to have a place you can feel so comfortable going to and a true feeling that people care about your well being.
I had lapband surgery 2 years ago with WLIA and have lost over 100 lbs. Dr. DeBarros is a fantastic doctor and surgeon. I have not had any issues with my band after having it put in. Dr. Debarros is up front and honest with every procedure and will tell you exactly what you need to do to be successful with your surgery. I would recommend him to everyone. If you follow the program, you will not be disappointed!
I just had my consultation with WLIA on the 25th of Jan 2014. The staff at WLIA were very nice and I was happy with punctuality of the staff as well. I met with the nutritionist and Dr. DeBarros. Mike the nutritionist was very informative and approachable he assured me that the staff of WLIA are there for me and are available for all of my questions either in person or online. Dr. DeBarros went over the lapband process with my husband and I. I am very excited to start my journey with WLIA.
The Weight Loss Institute of Arizona after reviewing my health care insurance weeks in advance gave me an appointment with a doctor and did in office medical and lab tests the were out-of-network. This resulted in no insurance coverage at all for doctor visit, medical and lab test. Being out in-network also resulted in medical cost tests not an insurance negotiated cost and billed at full cost. I am a new patient going to have the vertical sleeve on march14 2014. So far my experience with this office and Dr Debarros has been amazing!!!!They have made the entire process so easy and painless. I believe that Dr. Debarros cares for his patients and so does his office staff. I have nothing but great things to say about WLIA and would recomend others to choose him, as I was recommended to use him from 2 of my friends that have been patients.
I recently saw a TV commercial on Weight Loss Institute of Arizona, on lap band surgery. I made an appointment at the office closest to me. Since I had failed many times at losing weight, I needed more information. The office personnel, medical assistant, dietician, and Dr. DeBarros went over the program. The overall experience here was okay I'm not going to say Super simply because of the finance issues i lost my insurance and started a new job and I'm able to pay for the fills however the cost for non insured patients is absolutely ridiculous! the help is great in my opinion but the wait time there can use a little work iv'e set there at times and waited almost 3 hrs to only speak with my doctor for less then 5mins (Dr.Debarros) but he is a funny humorous guy and i honestly couldn't have picked a better Doctor to do my surg... read more
