My initial visit could not have gone better. There was very little wait time and I was introduced to many members of the staff in different departments as well as the doctor. I feel confident that I have a team of medical professionals vested in helping me get through my procedure and continuing to provide me with support after it. Dr De Barros is an awesome surgeon he listens to me. He recently did my rebuckle and I am grateful for him for not just yanking out my band.
Dr. John DeBarros did my lapbad 3 years ago, I have had wonderful success thanks to his wonderful advice and his staffs follow up care.
I have been going to WLIAZ since December. I see Dr. DeBarros and It has been such a wonderful experience. He and his staff are very friendly and I feel comfortable explaining my needs and asking my questions. From the first consultation to them standing by me though the insurance approval. I am beyond pleased.
I became a patient a few days ago, and I couldn't believe the quality service that was given to me. I literally had no wait time....and they began my appointment immediately! I have been a going to WLIA since Nov. 2014 and had lap-band surgery in late Jan. 2015. They have several offices around the valley which makes it really convenient. The weight loss institute is the best. The Doctors are very experienced and kind. All the staff is great and the support groups and dietitians are awesome. I would recommend WLIA to anyone with a weight problem. Debra Gollwitzer
There are no other word to describe Dr. DeBarros other than amazing. He knows what he is talking about - He is not just a weigh loss doctor he is a patient too! His personality is one in a million and made me laugh every time I would get nervous. Him and his staff always know what to say.
I have been very pleased with Dr. DeBarros. I have been seeing him for over a year. He addresses any sand concerns I have.
