I really appreciate all the help from the nutritionist, she helps guide me and gives me ideas of what to eat. She's very kind and not judgmental as well.
Dr Debarros is a great doctor he thanks time with his patient and is always on time. This has been very positive for both me and my family. I would recommend WLIA to everyone.
I had my first Consultation and could not be more ready for this journey. The staff at WLIA has made this decision very easy to make. The finance people really help with budgeting and the nutritionist is very helpful in preparing me for what to expect. I would definitely recommend the Weight Loss Institute of Arizona to anyone who is considering weight loss surgery. They answered all of my questions thoroughly and will do the same for you. My entire life I struggled with obesity. I had low energy and was tinkering with the onset of diabetes and high blood pressure. I knew at the age of 22 that if I did not make a decision to change my life, I would forever be a prisoner to my weight. Dr. DeBarros is amazing as well as his staff. The only thing I would add with regard to wait time is that since they have so many patients now, I often times have waited for a minimum of an hour in the waiting room. Other than that completely satisfied.
Dr. DeBarros is amazing. When I started my lapband journey I was skeptical but everything went so smooth I couldn't believe it. The whole staff is great. He is so excited for you when you do well and quick to get on to you when you make bad decisions. He being banded himself,understands the process better than anyone. Dr. DeBarros answered all of questions and was very knowledgeable. He has a great sense of humor which made me feel really comfortable. He was very honest with me and was straight to the point.
I just had my lap-band surgery with WLIA. All went smooth, the nurses were wonderful and Dr. DeBarros explained the entire procedure putting me at ease. Thank you for making this process so simple to complete. For anyone looking for bariatrics surgery I highly recommend Dr. DeBarros at the Weight Loss Institute of Arizona.
