Stay away from this doctor! He has 3 ethical breaches according to College of Chiropractors of BC. Uses X rays completely unnecessarily (also in conflict with what is recommended by College of Chiropractors of BC). Delays first adjustment by WEEKS, since he forces you to go to a public lecture he leads with all new patients; so if there are no new patients, you are stuck with a sore back for next 1 to 2 to 2.5 weeks waiting for their call. Uses scare tactics to keep patients for life. Absolutely awful.
I have been using chiropractors for over 20 years and I saw Dr. T. Killian recently as he was conveniently located. It was a waste of time. He will not allow you to see him unless you get x-rays and then sit through a 2 hour training session and go through your x-rays with a group of people. I am not able to do that due to work restrictions (nor am I interested in sitting and learning and sharing my x-rays) and at that point he said thank you and offered a referral and walked out. I would not recommend him.
I would have to agree with the negative comments below. Follow your gut feeling, he does not carry a friendly vibe with him at all. I met him at a food fair this year, he was a convincing speaker but rather pushy, so my husband gave in and decided to test out his machine. One of his staff gave my husband a clipboard to fill in his information and another one to me. I have been seeing Dr. Kilian for about 6 months since my tension in my neck was giving me hard time focusing on my job. He is not only adjusting, but giving us an opportunity to gain some knowledge on the nutrition/eating habits etc... in his spare time! I find it very helpful too!
I recently spent some time reading some other people’s reviews of Kilian Chiropractic and I cannot believe some of the negative comments. I have been going there for approximately a year and I personally cannot think of one negative thing to say about them. Highly knowledgeable and skilled chiropractor with a strong background in the field. Both brother and father are chiropractors which is apparent when speaking with Dr.Killian as his experience, education and skills are confidently communicated. He uses a modern method of treatment which may or may not be right for everyone but works for my schedule. Committed to providing wholesome health and wellness support.
Did a pressure test at one of his exhibition booth one time and saw him at his clinic a couple weeks later. He request x-rays but I declined for financial and personal reasons. He didn't seemed pleased and seemed disappointed that i declined. Other than that he seems to be enthusiastic and nice Chiropractor/person.
this doctor is a joke.. Extremely gimmicky introduction meeting for an hour where Dr. Kilian was supposed to be my saviour for all my problems... His wife is the receptionist and has absolute terrible service... probably only has the job due to being his wife.. The doctor himself does not know what he is doing and severely made my back much worse.. had to go to a new chiropractor to fix the damages he did.
The staff is excellent, they do follow up when you missed appointments and help you reschedule the appointment. Dr Kilian really does care for his patients. He observed and suggested that I start moving my wrist when I was keeping it immobile after a gout attack to keep the range of motion, even though he did not have to do that. His positive attitude made me look forward to go for my adjustments and he tries to make his patients more knowledgeable about living healthy by doing presentations.
