Fusion on L4 & L5, Most Excellent Doctor.
I went to Southern Indiana Orthopedics as a follow-up & second opinion after initially going to see my internal medicine physician 3 days prior when I initially woke up to significant pain I felt in my lower right buttocks, groin area, & outer thigh. Unfortunately, Dr. Darryl Tannenbaum was arrogant, dismissive, short, & seemed very rushed & uninterested in my concerns. Very satisfied with everyone I spoke with.
He’s ok. Not great. Preoccupied. Think there are better spine surgeons with more experience.
He’s so smart and nice. He doesn’t waste your time. He never chooses surgery first but gives other options to consider.
I had a negative experience. Dr. Chambers spent a short amount of time with me during appointments. He did not listen to my concerns and spoke very quickly making it difficult for me to understand. He also did not spend time to review my MRI and X-Ray images with me. I left still in pain, and without knowing what to do about it.
I saw Dr, Tannenbaum and was very pleased. Excellent doctor. I would give him a five star.
Had two visits with Dr. Tannenbaum, both less than five minutes. No x-rays or MRI for an injured knee from falling, the ER referred me to his office. Did not even do an examination to manipulate it or see what he thought, so basically no diagnosis. Referred to PT for five weeks, after the 8th PT session my PT told me that there was nothing more PT could do and to see my general practice doctor and get a referral to a new doctor. Doesnt give follow up even when find something wrong and cant figure out why i have pain at night does test those come out normal so instead of giving me a follow up to figure out why i have pain at night she offers me gabapentin the worse drug in the world
