My health and life outlook were in terribly bad shape when I first walked into Dr Sy's office, but I was met with a brilliant and supportive doctor who genuinely cares! In the 3 years since our first meeting, I have made vast improvements in my health and outlook on life! Dr Sy has literally been a life saver!

I have been going to Dr. Sy for about two years now. I see her for Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy. Dr. Sy has a special gift when it comes to this therapy. She is very intuitive and has the ability to sense the needs of your body. This realization did not come from the first session with her but grew over time. Trusting her and her treatments. We all have specialties and I feel OMT is hers. The staff is professional and personable and will help you with your questions and needs. All in all a great experience for me.

I've been with Dr. Sy for over 20 years, and in my 50's I am in better health than ever before. Dr. Sy actively partnered with me to enhance and improve my overall health quality. I recommend her to all my friends and family.

I have been going to Dr Sy for 7 years. She is intuitive and has a gift at reading/ scanning your needs. It took me a while to understand this. I took her for not wanting to know me or listen to me. Hence, she may not have the best bed side manor for questions or chatting. However, she is efficient and has a wisdom about her that is pretty remarkable. If you need a holistic MD, I totally recommend her. Great staff.

She is concerned more with her revenue than her patients. She would only schedule 20 minute appointments and would tell you anything that couldn't be covered in that time would require another appointment (more copay for her). The average time I had to wait between scheduling an appointment and actually seeing Joan was 3 weeks. Was very dissatisfied with experience.

While I feel that Dr. Sy is competent, her focus on blood testing twice a year and the subsequent emphasis on selling expensive supplements became too much for me. I felt that I was “sick” all the time because I “needed” to be taking more and more vitamins. On the plus side, her office staff were competent and caring.

While reviewing my lab results yesterday Dr. Sy stopped me three times from asking a question stating that "we have a lot of data" I get 30 minutes of healthcare a year at this office out of 525,600 annual minutes, which is .000057%. Sure does not feel like much.

I would highly recommend Dr Sy to anyone. She is always on top of all the latest healthcare news and medical technology. She is extremely thorough and she truly cares about her patient's health, as if you were a friend or family member. She explains everything she does and always explains the $$ costs, so there are no surprises on your bills. She also has a web portal... a big PLUS!! She has an incredible staff that seem like family to me, and they are also very efficient in everything!!!
