During my first visit with Dr. Jacob, I found out the arthroscopic surgery I had had prior to seeing him was unnecessary. He explained that I had 80% arthritis in that knee and I needed a replacement. Several things were outstanding about this doctor: 1. He was very knowledgeable and caring. 2. In February of 2021 I had an accident and broke my ankle in three places. I was brought to the emergency room at Huntington Hospital and was extremely lucky to have Dr. Jacob be able to perform an extensive surgery to repair my ankle. I was admitted to the ER at Huntington Hospital back in July 2020. Dr. Jacob performed surgery there on my completely torn quad muscle in my right leg. He was highly skilled, totally professional, put me at ease, and exceeded my expectations. I had 3 follow-up visits at his office in Commack. I was seen within about 15 minutes every time. I highly recommend Dr. Jacob as an exceptional orthopedic surgeon, and his bedside manner is friendly and reassuring.
