I have extreme confidence in Dr Bortz
Dr. Bortz's professionalism, integrity and, at this point, friendship, having been a client of his for over a decade, are things I greatly value. He's an excellent surgeon and has removed cancerous growths from my skin with such skill that they are virtually invisible to the eye. He also runs a tight ship. His team sends reminder messages before the appointment, delays in getting seen are minimal, and they handle insurance reimbursements well. Overall, it's a very well-run practice.

I booked the first appointment of the day to get my stitches out. I was told it would be 10 minutes in and out. It took an hour and a half. There should be some way to report this.

I was referred to Dr. Bortz for two procedures - a Basil cell carcinoma which required Moh's surgery on my forehead and removal of a melanoma on my cheek. Dr. Bortz explained both procedures and was able to fit me in expeditiously. I am very thankful there is such a highly skilled physician in Walnut Creek. Besides Dr. Bortz I was very impressed with the staff members who all acted in a professional and friendly manner.
