Dr. Bortz identified a melanoma on both my leg and temple and flawlessly performed the surgery to remove them. Had I not gone to him for a visit, the melanoma would have spread into my body and I would not be alive today. He is truly a caring doctor who is exceptional in his field. He is also a talented surgeon because my scars are barely visible

I was very confident that I was getting the best care from Dr Bortz and the entire staff. The Dr performed extensive MOHS surgery on my scalp. Everyone was efficient and pleasant.
This was the second time I’ve seen Dr. Bortz. I always feel like everyone has my best interest at heart. Dr. Bortz takes his time, is methodical, and patient. The office was very accommodating to my schedule since I actually drove from Lake Tahoe to have my procedure done. Thank you for your professionalism. Highly recommend Dr. Bortz!
After Dr. Bortz does a surgery, there are never any after problems. The office staff is great and the Dr. is also very personable as well (importantly) extremely competent. Wait times are reasonable.
Dr. Bortz and his friendly staff are accommodating, highly qualified, sensitive & attentive to patient needs and inspire confidence in their skills and clinical judgement. I highly recommend Dr. Bortz if you require a Mohs procedure or other types of dermatologic care.
Very skillful;knowledgeable and personable
This was my third procedure with dr Bortz and it went very well even though I wish I didn’t have to do it. He is by far the best Dr in my mind for the type of surgery he preformed. His staff though young are just great and make you as comfortable as possible well trained and attentive to you
