Dr Alman did a total hip replacement last August and I have been 100% pin free ever since. Now I am looking forward to having my knee partially replaced by Dr Alman VERY soon!! I HIGHLY recommend Dr Alman and the fine staff at MSMOC to anyone needing any type of orthopedic care!!
The patient info & care team with frequent contact is awesome. Gives you some comfort knowing they are really there if you need them. Decreases fear & anxiety.
I have been extremely pleased with the care that I received from Dr. Almand. I had a partial knee replacement in 2011 on my right knee and a total knee replacement on my left knee in January 2019. Things are going really well. There is lots of pain but Dr. Almand and staff explained each step and provided adequate medications with instructions on pain management. Dr Alman is an outstanding surgeon and a fine young man! He has done two surgeries for me in the last eight years with wonderful success. I’m 74 and I highly recommend his services to anyone.
Dr. Almand is an excellent surgeon. I returned to him for my second knee replacement. He spends a lot of time explaining whatever information you need. He changed my surgery from outpatient to in the hospital. I was more comfortable having my surgery in the hospital. I have done well with my recovery both times due to Dr. Almand’s skill.
Experience was pleasant from parking to leaving. Was picked up by cart taken to door and back to car. Signing in was quick and efficient. Waited very short time til taken to X-ray. Very quick and efficient. Was informed by NP results of X-rays and recommended treatment. Dr Almand came in shortly. Went over treatment too. Treatment was done quickly and painlessly as possible. All of my questions were answered byDr Almand. Great convenience is in house pharmacy. Dr Almand and staff are great!!!!!
I had a partial knee replacement on my right knee in February 2018 and a partial knee replacement on my left knee in November 2018. I had a tough time with recovery with my first surgery but my second surgery was much better. Dr. Almand tells me this sometime happens. I did have extensive bruising, from my ankle to groin area, with my first surgery and complications with nerve issues. I was told this this was due to either the pain block or tourniquet during surgery.
Dr. Almand is the premier joint replacement surgeon in the Jackson, Mississippi area. I have had two joint replacement procedures performed by him and will have another very soon. I highly recommend Dr. Almand for any knee or hip replacement you might be faced with.
Excellent DR. Received Hip replacement. DR Almand walked us thru the process, told us what to expect, conducted the surgery and 3 weeks later I feel great. He and his office check on us routinely. Could not asl for more. Great Job
