Partial right knee replacement May 15, 2019 at Madison Outpatient Surgery Center by Dr Almand. Doing great. Good experience. Second knee replacement by Dr Almand within 7 months. Had outstanding results with my total hip replacement from Dr Almand. I would highly recommend his skill, expertise and bedside manner to anyone looking for joint surgery of the hip and knee.
Total out patient Hip replacement, back to work in 7 days -- no complications of any kind. Good combination package of in-home physical therapy for one week and then two weeks of PT at the Fortification Street facility. Currently three weeks post op and weening off reliance on cane. Have used Dr Almand two times previously for hip and knee surgery. These two surgeries were so good there was no question when my right knee failed. Great bedside manner and grand office tean!!
I had a partial knee replacement and it is doing great. The entire staff at Mississippi Sports Medicine is great. The wait time for a appointment is very short. I had back surgery 2 years ago and used MSM then.
In explaining my symptoms Dr Almand was aware of my pain. Just wished he had a more definitive answer as how I could get some relief. Now going for a third opinion from knee to hip and now back. I hope after I see Dr Calvert the three of them can give an answer to my pain.
He was patient and very thorough, down to earth
