Before seeing the doctor and for 45 min. after arriving was given too much paperwork, a tablet with a hundred pages (seemed like) to complete of terms and conditions, etc., etc., a ridiculous amount of stuff to read on a screen and then to spend 5 minutes with the doctor. I forgot two other important reasons why I came to see the doctor. Hopefully, next visit will not be a repeat of first.
My first full body exam in my 75 years by a Dermatologist, I was pleasantly surprised at their promptness and professionalism. He noted nothing remarkable except for 3 spots of precancerous dried skin. Did not take out the scalpel but did freeze the areas along with some skin tags. I have an appointment in 1 year.
I went for answers and I got them.
Dr Jay Barnett has poor bedside manner, did a full body mole check in less than a minute. When questioned , he offered a flippant remark stating he's been doing this for 30+yrs. Maybe it's time for him to retire because he clearly doesn't enjoy patients. His advice: stay out of the sun and wear sunscreen to prevent further fine lines and wrinkles . Great, thanks!
