He was kind and thorough, explained clearly the reason for my shoulder pain. He answered my questions and explained exactly what treatment protocol he was going to use.
Dr. Hurst was very knowledgeable and caring. My appointment was right on time and everyone I had contact with in the office was nice.
Dr Hurst was my 2nd opinion regarding a torn rotator cuff, pain and stiffness. He diagnosed more of a frozen shoulder and advised against surgery (per the first ortho i saw). This was a great relief for me... no surgery. I'll do more PT and anti-inflammatories and hope for the best. I'm so happy I saw Dr Hurst and I trust his opinion.
I had two separate knee replacements that went flawlessly. I recently requested an appointment for leg pain and Dr Hurst saw me the same day and expertly determined the pain was not from my knee or hip but from a possible lumbar problem. He wrote out his findings so I could take them to my doctor. He and the staff at JIS have always been professional and caring.
I love this office. The staff are always super friendly and very helpful. The doctor is very knowledgeable and kind.
