As an Orthopedic Surgeon, my success is measured by how well I can improve or prevent decline of the function of my patients. Although I am a Surgeon, I believe that most orthopedic problems can be treated by nonsurgical measures such as orthotics, therapy, injections, medications, etc. My patients become surgical candidates when nonsurgical methods are failing and when the patient tells me that they are ready for surgery. Replaced my left ankle. Surgery went well and recovery was not as painful as expected. It took 3 to 4 months for full recovery but I have not had any ankle pain since rehabilitation.
I would definitely recommend Dr Patterson. After more than a year with Achilles pain & difficulty walking, I am pain free & able to get back to normal life again. He & his staff took excellent care of me from day one. He has a great bedside manner, made me feel at ease immediately. I would not hesitate to go back to him if I needed to.
Dr. Patterson is an amazing surgeon. He did a very complex reconstruction, repair and fusion on my foot. I couldn't be happier with the result. I highly recommend him for any foot or ankle injury or problem. The office and his personal staff took great care of me. I will definitely continue to see him. He is skilled, caring and professional.
I had a phenomenal Experience with Dr. Patterson. He was incredibly thoughtful and strategic in his approach to treating a complex injury. Many surgeons are quick to reccomend a procedure without exploring non-invasive options first. Dr. Patterson My outcome has been better than I could have expected. He's brilliant, thoughtful, professional compassionate and most importantly, an excellent surgeon. I will certainly reccomend him to friends, family and industry contacts in the future.
The care I received while being treated by Dr. Patterson and his staff could not have been better. At age 73 this was my first broken bone, turned out to be a trimalleolar fracture of my left ankle. Needless to say I was apprehensive about surgery and if I would be able to get back to my normal activities after all was said and done. Dr. Patterson did my foot surgery at ER Gilbert Mercy Medical Center on 8/11/18 after I had an injury at work. He was very professional and helped me understand what was going on. He is a good surgon. I thought for sure I wouldn't feel my foot ever again, but he did such a good job that I really want to thank him in person. Not residing in Gilbert, Dr. Patterson referred me to another good surgeon in Glendale who has been seeing me for 7 months now. Thanks, Dr. Patterson :)
Surgery went great. Ankle is back to functioning and normal in 2months. 10/10 would recommend. I’d break my ankle again... Just kidding. No I wouldn’t. But he really is a great surgeon.
