After a 20 minute telephone hold listening to commercials about their services, the the appointment booker told me that the Doctor didn't like to wait for patients so, they stack 'em up. They expect patients to arrive early, but have little regard for the patients' time. I decided that if the doctor is too important and busy for my comfort, I didn't need to do business with them. How can I expect safe, considerate care in that environment?
Dr. McDowell performed major surgery on my elderly mother and corrected a hiatal hernia. The surgery was perfect, and we even got to see photographs of how it was done. His compassion and bedside manner was outstanding. He truly cares about his patients and even called personally after she was released to follow up on her progress. I would highly recommend Dr. McDowell.

Dr.McDowell this the best surgeon he care and he have good bedside manors he lessen to all your problems and tells you the truth he his very caring surgeon and I will recommend him to my friends and family.
I have had two surgeries with this wonderful doctor and I would and have highly recommended him to everyone! He not only is excellent in his profession, but is so kind and really cares about his patients! 5+ Stars, everything you could possibly want in a physician!!!
Dr. McDowell performed my Gastric Bypass. I was nervous about the procedure before hand however he did everything he could to put me at ease. I could not recommend him high enough.
What a wonderful Christian Doctor. He has the best bedside manner and listens to the patient with compassion. His surgical skills are top notch. He fixed a botched hernia surgery that another doctor did and my recovery was easier and faster than the previous, even though he had a mess to clean up and fix. His surgical follow up was wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. McDowell.
Very nice guy. Answered all questions and was completely honest about what I was going to go through. I really liked him a lot!!
He a real understanding doctor,he listen to you,and alway put a smile on your face .he save my life in more way u can say.I am thankful for him.not just the weight loss surgery. I am happy for all he done to me he a blessing.
